This half day online or in person training workshop will provide an overview on how you can be creative within your workplace. Being creative within an organisation can lead to establishing Unique Selling Points for a business and what sets it aside from its main competitors.

In an environment where we are all being asked to do more with less, businesses are ever more reliant on their employees - their biggest assets - to help them develop and grow.  Being willing to try new ways of doing and approaching things and having the right skills and knowledge to enable change are paramount to business success.

This training workshop will focus on how creativity can be applied and achieved in the workplace. The session provides attendees with a range of creative tools and techniques for problem identification, problem solving and idea generation. Successful creativity can lead to increased motivation and productivity, as well as solving problems or doing things more efficiently and cost effectively. Successful creativity can also bring about innovation  in the workplace.

 

Everyone has the ability to be creative, irrespective of grade or position, and anyone can has the capability to come up with the best ideas and solutions. 

Target Audience

This training workshop is for anyone working in business who is interested in expanding their creative thinking and understanding different ways in which problems can be identified, progressed and resolved through effective idea generation.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this session you will:

  • Understand the difference between Creativity and Innovation.

  • Recognise ways you can develop creative thinking .

  • Have gained knowledge on a range of tools and techniques to use for challenge identification, idea generation and the problem solving process. 

  • Recognise the different skills and environment required for Creativity.

  • Understand the importance of design and where it fits in the creativity process.

This course is underpinned by practical examples where participants will get an opportunity to try challenge identification, idea generation and problem solving tools.

The course will start online at 9.30 am and finish around 12.45 pm or commence at 1.00 pm and finish no later than 4.15 pm . A break will be provided during the training session.
